Today, the No Ceilings initiative of the Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation are launching the No Ceilings Full Participation Report at a major event in New York City. They have joined forces to gather data and analyze the gains made for women and girls, as well as the gaps that remain, in the two decades since the UN Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing in 1995. The Report has involved partnership with a number of groups active in development data, including Open Data Watch. Accompanied by a large data set, the No Ceilings Full Participation Report demonstrates the power of open data to monitor trends, assist decision-making, and impact people’s lives in meaningful, practical ways.
The event can be watched live and you can explore the data through interactive stories and videos.
