Data Drives Progress: A Call for Commitments

In connection with the current 55th UN Statistical Commission and in anticipation of the 2024 UN World Data Forum (UNWDF) in Medellin, PARIS21 and Open Data Watch, alongside the UNWDF Programme Committee and under the guidance of the High-level Group for Partnership, Coordination and Capacity-Building for Statistics (HLG), met to explore the development of an initiative that catalyzes commitments towards better data for improved lives.
The initiative aims to accelerate action and the impact of data to turn dialogue into actual transformative change. The call is for all stakeholders to make impactful commitments that will quicken progress towards the 2030 Agenda.
