Regional Meeting on Measuring Disability and Disability Statistics in Support of the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda and the Global Population and Housing Census Program 2020

Hosted by the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean, the main purpose of the meeting is to compile national experiences, including challenges and lessons learned, on the approaches adopted to measure the population with disabilities during the national rounds of the 2010 round. Capacity Building Program on the Framework for the Development of Environment Statistics in Africa

A capacity building program on the Framework for the Development of Environment Statistics has been launched by the African Centre for Statistics of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa jointly with the United Nations Statistics Division and the United Nations Environment Programme. Environmental sustainability is recognized as one of the three pillars that are critically linked to well-being of human in the global sustainable development agenda. The environmental issues are urgent and increasingly aggravating in Africa.
