Twitter Chat: What does ‘leave no one behind’ mean to you?

Hosted by the Open Institute, the overall theme of this Twitter chat is, “what does LNOB mean to you?” The Twitter chat will begin at 11 am East African time, with the following schedule:
- 11am – 12:pm – What does “Leave No One Behind” even mean? The expectation is that organisations and others will tweet their positions on the issue.
- 12pm – 1pm – Who is actually being left behind? The hope is that people will discuss the various communities being left behind – disabled etc
- 1pm – 2pm – How do we leave no one behind? Are their examples of leaving no one behind? The hope here is many of the people will share examples of activities that are geared towards this.

Expert Group Meeting on Channelling Trade and Investment into Sustainable Development

The Expert Group Meeting (EGM) is organized in a context of the Division’s research program and the preparation of the Asia-Pacific Trade and Investment Report (APTIR) 2017. APTIR is a recurrent publication prepared by the Trade, Investment and Innovation Division of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific. It provides information on and independent analyses of trends and developments in: intra- and inter-regional trade in goods, services and foreign direct investment. It also discusses the role of trade policy and facilitation measures and preferential trade policies and agreements for the region’s economies.
