This year, the conference is being organized by the Dedan Kimathi University of Technology (Kenya) in collaboration with Pulse Lab Kampala and various local and international universities, research organizations and private companies including Amazon Inc. The event will start with a three-day summer school for ‘trainers of trainers’. The aim is for them to be able to serve as trainers in their local contexts using the “end-to-end” approach. A two-day workshop will then follow with paper presentations and interactive panel discussions.
