Can the establishment of a global fund for development data overcome the challenges of current instruments and achieve the goal of more and better financing for data? Our recently published blog post and its accompanying inventory of existing global funds attempts to answer this question. The inventory, which covers 24 global funds, 16 of which have a primary or secondary focus on statistics, also has nine evaluations of the efficacy of global funds.
