Three flagship reports on the Data Revolution have been released in the last two months. September saw the publication of “Counting on the World” by the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network and “Harnessing the Data Revolution: Enabling Frogs to Leap” by the Center for Strategic International Studies. In October, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development released its annual Development Co-operation Report 2017. Each report has its own “flavor” but the base of each “dish” – the Data Revolution – is the same. Open Data Watch has had the privilege to be involved in all three. Working on the reports has provided an opportunity for us to learn from our partners and to share ODW’s experience and research, whether as a peer reviewer for “Harnessing the Data Revolution” or as a team contributor to “Counting on the World” and the “Development Co-operation Report.”
