The International Seminar on Open Data for the Sustainable Development Goals aims to contribute to the ongoing dialogue on the importance of Open Data initiatives to support the implementation of the 2030 Agenda, drawing from the Seminar on Open Data held prior to the 48th session of the UN Statistical Commission in March 2017. Organized by the United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD) and Statistics Korea (KOSTAT), the Seminar is set to review and recommend solutions and best practices for making data more open and accessible by addressing the practical question of how to make data more open in the context of national statistical systems, from planning to a sustained and effective operation.
