CIVICUS and the Colombian Confederation of NGOs (CCONG) will host the upcoming 2016 International Civil Society Week. Under the banner of “Active Citizens, Accountable Actions”, ICSW 2016 will feature more than two dozen events organised by leading civil society organisations. Delegates can look forward to events on civic space, monitoring and accountability of the new Sustainable Development Goals, youth engagement in policy development, global citizenship, advocacy and many others. In addition to plenary sessions, workshops and meetings, the week will also feature documentary screenings, art exhibitions, and local cultural activities.
