Hosted by UN Statistics Division, the meeting will bring together national and international experts to review and discuss issues related to the development of gender statistics. In particular, the meeting will: (a) review methodological developments in key areas of gender concerns in the SDG framework; (b) review the work of the IAEG-GS Advisory Group on Gender Indicators and the alignment of the Minimum Set of Gender Indicators with the Global SDG indicator framework; (c) provide an update on the work undertaken in the field of gender statistics by the IAEG-GS Members; (d) review capacity building efforts in gender statistics; and (e) discuss the preparation of the 7th Global Forum on Gender Statistics, hosted by Japan in November 2018…more
