First Global VNR Workshop 2025

This event, organized by UN DESA and UNOSD, aims to support government officials in coordinating the preparation of voluntary national reviews (VNRs) for the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) 2025. The workshop will focus on enhancing the evidence-based foundation of VNRs by addressing challenges in data availability, disaggregation, and monitoring exacerbated by crises. Participants will share best practices, explore innovations in data integration and alternative data sources, and improve coordination across governments for more effective Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) reporting.

The workshop is exclusive to representatives of VNR countries and relevant UN Secretariat entities.
