
HLPF Side Event – Advancing Inclusive Data Systems: Strengthening Citizen Data for Impact

A full-day hybrid workshop (in-person and online), organized by the Collaborative on Citizen Data and its partners: UN Statistics Division, UN Women, Open Data Watch, World Bank, UNITAR, PARIS21, and Stakeholder Group of Persons with Disabilities.
The workshop will be hybrid and take place on 23 July 2025, from 9:45 AM – 5:30 PM (Eastern Time). In-person location: UNFPA New York (605 3rd Ave, New York, NY 10158). The full-day workshop will consist of four sessions:
- Session 1 – Copenhagen Framework and Implementation (10:00-11:15am)
- Session 2 – Gender and Citizen Data for Transformative Action (11:30am-12:45pm)
- Session 3 – Intersectional and disability data: data sources for more equitable and inclusive data systems (2:30-3:45pm) – with International Sign Language Interpretation
- Session 4 – Integration of citizen data with other data sources (4:00-5:15pm)
