AGSF Panel: What does it take to build inclusive gender data systems?

The 7th AGSF, held in Abidjan from 30 June to 4 July 2025, is co-organized by AfDB, ECA, the African Union, UN Women, UNICEF, and Open Data Watch. It serves as a regional platform to advance gender data through collaboration and shared strategies.

On 1 July, ODW will host a session titled “What does it take to build inclusive gender data systems?” focused on operationalizing intersectionality across the data value chain. The session will explore how inclusive data practices—such as citizen-led collection and policy integration—can better reflect diverse lived experiences and drive equitable change.
