Hosted by the UN Statistics Division, the seminar will present the UN Methodological Guidelines on the Production of Statistics on Asset Ownership from a Gender Perspective, developed under the Evidence and Data for Gender Equality (EDGE) project. The guidelines provide national statistical agencies and policy makers with guidance on collecting, processing, analysing and disseminating individual-level household survey data on asset ownership. Lessons learned from the EDGE pilot countries which tested the methodology will also be shared.
