As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to emphasize the need for data-driven decision making, Open Data Watch is maintaining our special edition of What’s Being Said focused on COVID-19 which is organized by the stages of the data value chain: availability, openness, dissemination, and use and uptake. We also partnered with Data2X to launch a joint review of principal databases to understand the gender impact of the pandemic.
Outside of archiving COVID-19 data resource, this month we held a virtual Open Data Inventory training with the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics Information Service. This workshop was a great opportunity to share the Open Data Inventory methodology and recommend country-specific methods for improving open data.
